Verse of the Day...

The people of John Wesley UMC hold a deep belief that prayer is powerful, healing and that through our willingness to pray, God hears and not only answers, but answers in ways beyond what we can dream or imagine. From Prayer Vigils to Prayer Ministers to the Prayer Chain, individuals and groups are committed to praying for powerful outcomes in people's lives.
May we pray with you?

Prayer Ministers
Sometimes, we need someone to pray with
us. Even Jesus requested prayer support.
JW Prayer Ministers offer support and prayer for just those times.  Our prayer ministers have been trained to listen, offer powerful prayers and keep requests confidential.
They are available from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in Room 10 (down the hall on the right, first room on the right) and in Dunlap Hall. (across the narthex from the Sanctuary)

The Virtual Prayer Chain is available at

The office manager receives prayer requests online which are directed to those committed to pray as the requests are received.  Powerful outcomes happen consistently as a result of our faithful pray-ers.
